Sining 2010

This February, high school students from different schools in Pampanga will once again compete in one of the most anticipated event of UP Aguman which is none other than ….. *drum roll*  SINING 2010! *applause*

SINING is geared towards the cultivation of the cultural and artistic talents of the students of various schools of Pampanga and the neighboring regions. First held in 1982, it paved the way for the annual convention of the most talented and artistic students. It is basically a clustered event of thirteen separate competitions composing of Poetry Writing, Essay Writing, Impromptu Speech, Crissotan, Music Illustration, Still-Life Drawing, Art Photography, Declamation, Solo Singing, Interpretative Dance, Modern Street Dance, Rockoustic Band, and Junk-Art Fashion Show. This event will once again establish a showcase of the creative avenues of the Kapampangan high school students.

This year, UP Aguman presents to you Sining 2010 with the theme

“mayARTi: Jazzing up Kapampangan Creativity to the Next Level”, to be held on February 6 and 21.

The competitions for Poetry Writing, Essay Writing, Impromptu Speech, Crissotan, Declamation, Music Art Illustration, Still-Life Drawing, and Art Photography will be held on the first day, February 6 (Saturday),  at the Don Bosco Academy Auditorium, Mabalacat, Pampanga.

The competitions for Solo Singing, Interpretative Dance, Modern Street Dance, Rockoustic Band, and Junk-Art Fashion Show will be held on the second day, February 21 (Sunday), at the SM City Clark Event Center.
